Customs Operational Compliance IV
Advanced virtual workshop in two half-day sessions: principles and techniques
An advanced customs operational compliance course for people who already handle customs work: import and export clearance, duty and import VAT, temporary imports and exports, bills of lading, liability, examination without prejudice and customs refunds.
About this course
Customs operational compliance is the day-to-day work of making sure every import and export follows customs law, procedures and regulations while goods keep moving. When it slips, the results are seized goods, incorrect duty, fines and delays at the border.
This course assumes delegates have some previous customs compliance training or experience. It moves past the basics into the advanced application of customs procedures, using the situations entry clerks, depot staff and managers deal with in practice, so delegates can spot problems before they become costly.
